Yes. One of my fave shows. I really love it, I was so sad when it ended and I was disappointed with how they ended the show.
according to the Arthurian legend/myth, it was fated that King Arthur would die so that he could rise again when Albion requires his leardership again one day. That's why he was called "The Once and Future King" so i guess they just wanted to follow the story the legend/myth so that's why it ended like that. But i am still hoping for a Merlin The Movie with Arthur living again
i liked it! but I REALLY HATED the last episode of the series....basically i watched the show to see the story become bigger...but it never happened! magic never became bigger (he was said the most powerful magician , but his magic consisted is yellow eyes , wind and move object/spersons) , and also the storylines remained the same...never culminated is comething big or "epic"!the last episode were should have happened everything was really disappointing , and the end was TERIBLE!

I've never understood why killing arthur .even the theme of the show says :"the destiny of a "great kingdom "rests on the shoulders of a young boy. His name... Merlin."
basically this "great kingdom" (with arthur) lasts one year because then he dies! all this story of king arthur great destiny as king ....just to see him lasting 1 or 2 season in that role!

I live in this US and found this show while looking for a site to stream the final season of Weeds. I never found Weeds, but I became OBSESSED with this show. Finished the whole series in about 2 weeks.
