I really hope Paulina steps up her game for this album .... because her pear / rival "Thalia" once again is having a great / smash success in latin america with her new album and certified -Gold- by the RIAA in the US (so far).

Thalia is no longer making pop music. She's more into ballads and acoustic stuff and that seems to be appealing to people, that's why she made another Primera Fila-like album called, Habitame Siempre, and it isn't actually as successful as the previous one. Paulina, unfortunately, isn't changing her musical style, at all. Thalia did it completely.

Unlike Paulina, Thalia is very much promoted by her label.

probably thats what Paulina needs , a drastic change, I'm not saying she should go and sing ballads/acoustic stuff , but she should try to be more pop again , I don't know .... I don't think that club / party pitbull sound is the right direction, probably it will give another latin billboard top hit, but I don't think is the kind of music that is going to make her sell a bunch of albums.

I agree with you. Paulina, at least, needs to change her musical style just like she did in 2002. It was a complete change. By the way, she's not recording with Pitbull for the 1st time, they did it before in 2009. He recorded a remix for one of her songs, but now it's more likely a whole new song.

The thing is that Paulina comes in too late. She worked with RedOne on songs that might have sounded amazing in 2009 or 2010 but not 2012, and now she seems to be doing the same with Pitbull. However, let's just wait and see.
