I cant speak for all USA citizens but I can say generally, they don't care, so no.

To be honest I don't think the USA thinks about Canada at all.

We may have in the 90's, when the US was definitively on top of the world...but now? I'm willing to bet that a good percentage of Americans would move to Canada, if they could.

If anything though, I think its more likely that a small percentage of Canadians think of the U.S. ( ESPECIALLY THE SOUTHERN & LOWER MIDWESTERN STATES as a joke.

I think it's more like we make fun of Canada but deep down we like them a lot compared to others.

I mean, we make jokes like all Canadians are super polite and love maple syrup and talk with a heavy accent but that's it. Canada has many benefits and lots of Americans actually want to move there in the future
