Birthdays are quite an elaborate affair at my place. You wake up to all your presents and your special birthday breakfast (we all have our own breakfast of choice that we only eat on our birthdays) then we go out for dinner that night with a cake and then a party on the closeted weekend. We all put in a lot of effort and thought into each others special day
17: My boss gave me a free day and I stayed at home sleeping.
18: I went out with some MET friends as I had fought with my mom and my brother. Things worked out with my mom afterwards. As with my brother, we haven't spoken a word to each other since then. We decided it was the best thing do to.
19: I was working all day long. I returned home at about 11:30pm and sang HB really quickly with my family because it was late.
20 (Coming in 5 days): I'm spending it in an ELT conference from 3 to 9pm. I guess I'm gonna hang out with some of my colleagues, but I don't know, pre-winter days are always depressing in my city and they always make me feel down.

Exactly, I never really want people to make a big deal about my birthday.
15th birthday: Had a few friends over, didn't do too much
16th birthday: Same thing
17th birthday: Did nothing (But I did get to see Carrie as a present )
18th birthday: I'm gonna be in Florida
For my sixteen birthday I had a party which had a masquerade theme, that was my last birthday party because after that I've been just going on vacation and celebrating wherever I go, now that I'm 21 it's much more fun though. Like last year I celebrated my birthday at the DeLuna Fest with my boyfriend and then we spent the rest of the week in Montego Bay
