Well the song is more Pop than R&B regardless of the sample. I think it has more with her being a Pop artist than her being white. Wiki has "Blurred Lines" listed under R&B, Disco, and Hip-Hop because Robin Thicke himself is credited as an R&B artist. For someone like Justin Timberlake, his music will always be categorized as Pop & R&B because that's who he is as an artist.
Then again, her fans could've edited that, so it might not even matter :michael
