Anyone noticed how it's weird that in 8 years, she's never appeared on any other 'Idol' show? She did one on Canadian Idol after her win, but after that, zip. It'd be easy promo for her and it'd be good promo for the franchise, with her being one of the biggest artists in the world.

Disappointed she hasn't been on any X Factors either. Discuss.

I suspect the reason you do not see her on X factor is with her connection to Simon Fuller. Simon Fuller and Simon Cowell do not get along so it maybe part of Carrie's contract with 19 that she is prohibited to sing on other singing shows.

I wonder how long she will stick with 19? I wish she would get a new management company but Carrie is very loyal to people so it may not happen until AI is finally finished and off the air

She hasn't been with 19 [Management] for years. She's still signed to 19R, but they don't have any input to her career, just collect money from her record sales.

I mean, I don't expect her to appear on XFUS, but I don't see the harm in performing on foreign versions.
