The bad blood between Latin divas Paulina Rubio & Thalia began in a Menudo-like teen confection called Timbiriche. Here’s Paulina’s account:
"She was 13; I was 12. I was trying to get the microphone, & she didn’t want to let me have it, so we started fighting. The audience didn’t know it was a real fight. I was little, but I was fast, & I won. I really wanted that microphone."
During the 90s, Thalia became a Latin soap superstar & worked with Emilio Estefan on a series of smash CDs. Paulina’s star faded.
In 2000, Thalia split with Estefan & her career stalled, while Paulina made a spectacular comeback working with famed songwriter Estefano. Thalia handled Paulina’s success graciously:
"Paulina seems happy to be at number one, but I have been number one also. Just ask an American who is Thalia & who is Paulina & I know what the answer is. What I don’t really like from Paulina is the way she acts, she acts like she is so smart but whatever, I’m Thalia."
In 2004, Thalia had Paulina & entourage booted from a nightclub after they crashed her Greatest Hits CD party: "We’re not friends … I don’t understand why she showed up." After Madonna’s famous Britney kiss, Paulina quipped "I’d like to give Thalia a kiss in the ear, a la Mike Tyson."
In 2006, Thalia released a song called "La Super Chica" as an indirect slap to Paulina whose known as "La Chica Dorada" (The Golden Girl.)
In 2007, Fashion designer Mitzy created a tunic with the images of Thalia and Paulina Rubio on the back. Thalia is in the role of a goddess and Paulina as what appears to be her servant…kneeling down and offering flowers. Supposedly, Thalia had no idea about the dress. The worst part of all is that he had Niurka Marcos model it down the runway.
I've seen a couple episodes but I hate the voice format . It's so boring 
I prefer X Factor much more to be honest.
