Yes, really. Men are the overwhelming perpetrators of all violent crimes . . .

In fact, when it comes to homicide in particular, not only are men the overwhelming perpetrators but apparently men kill men more than they kill women.
Quote:
Males represented 77% of homicide victims and nearly 90% of offenders. The victimization rate for males (11.6 per 100,000) was 3 times higher than the rate for females (3.4 per 100,000). The offending rate for males (15.1 per 100,000) was almost 9 times higher than the rate for females (1.7 per 100,000)

Fellas, ya’ll got to do better
Secondly, did you read that article you linked me to? Like, the headline which supports my premise about men being the majority of offenders in DV cases, or the part about how women prosecuted for domestic violence in the UK actually rose from 2004-2009. How does any of that refute what I said concerning how women aren’t evading arrest and prosecution if reported? And I gotta tell you, I do give men’s rights organizations like the one that funded the study sourced in your Guardian article the side eye.

Women are perfectly capable of using weapons. Women are perfectly capable of aiming for the tiny little weak spot stationed between a man's legs.

Except we weren’t talking about women with weapons before you went and brought it up, now were we? You also operate under the assumption that a weapon is available whenever DV pops off. However, it’s worth mentioning, that most reported incidents of DV assault don’t involve weapons.

(Page 14, table 2.7 . . . I did a paper on this last semester, so I’m really just cutting and pasting)
And nowhere did I say that women were incapable of being initial aggressors. I actually gave advice about what to do if a man is hit first by a woman. There’s been research into women aggressors in partner violence since the 1970’s, and actually, I’ve read that the types of couples with the highest incidence of domestic violence are lesbian. So, the idea of “aggressive women” is hardly novel. In the US, what’s becoming increasingly common among law enforcement is the practice of dual arrest, where authorities arrest both parties involved when they can’t determine who is at fault.

Please try to justify that for me. The reason why female- on- male abuse is so rarely reported is because male victims are so hesitant to come forward about it, since they're afraid that they won't be taken seriously (they're right). It doesn't mean that it's not happening.

And how is that feminism’s fault? What you’re describing is actually a consequence of patriarchy. Patriarchy says that if a man gets his ass kicked by a woman, then he risks shame and ridicule for admitting it. Aren’t the majority of legislators, MP’s, solicitors, barristers, police officers in the UK, men? So, who’s really at fault for men in the UK supposedly not being taken seriously if assaulted first by women? Yeah, that’s what I thought.
