How the hell is her average 4 million when only 2 albums have accomplished this feat? Fact of the matter is she only has 2 big sellers out of 7. She's not an album seller.

Rihanna records albums for Def Jam to sell. They have sold over 41 million albums recorded by Rihanna to retailers and other third party salesmen.

If you wanna obsess over how many copies have probably been sold, on seperate receipts, in 60-70% of the world than you can do that.

If her average is 4 million than her 7 albums have sold 28 million copies.

27.45/7 = 3.9

It was at 2.8m almost a year ago. With the superbowl and her recent magazine/documentary/world tour, we can assume it's much closer to 3 million that is was then.

I just think people don't put in mind that when she debuted put her at a disadvantage. Obviously, she's no ADELE or Taylor Swift, & she debuted right when album sales really started to fall. Her entire career has been on the downward slope of this trend. So while that's not fully to blame, it's definitely a part of it. MotS & AGLM weren't going to sell a lot no matter when they debuted just because they're both weak, but if GGGB had been released in the early 00s, the slayage would've been unreal. Britney & Bey debuted at the perfect time to build a devoted, album-buying fanbase, and they also debuted with way stronger material than Rih.
