I was here for the add some pop songs, but it doesn't seem like it'll happen.

Yeah, I think it will dilute the 3rd album brand. She's a household name and as long as she has 3 crossover songs that are not too pop (Fly/Moment for life/and a crossover song that isn't introspective but fun dance song then I think she can focus on more depth with the rest of the album).
I'm sure with her features, unless she just plans to not do features during her album promo, she'll stay on top 40 but she just needs TWO songs that get medium to high play on top 40 the rest can be urban smashes.

I think the "new new sound" will be R&B and some other sounds. The album will have a lot of R&B undertones for sure.

I agree.

I want some African undertones, like what Bey did with Run The World/Grown Woman.
I mean shes Trini, she needs some African influence. And that Gun Shot/Freaks mess, didn't cut it.

I'm sure her team is looking for something less contrived and more authentic.
I'm so here for Parker's inspiring her and getting her into so melodic and sonically chill vibey songs.
I'm sure he would be able to do an African beat in its sincerest form.
As much I as just think Beez is ok, I do think if she can create urban, r&b and overall production sounds that sound like nothing heard before (Beez, Hell Yeah, Catch me, Save me, Come on a cone, fireburns)...
I just want two or three samples though because it seems like the whole 90s thing where rappers released singles with strong samples is coming back. no rock/pop samples old school 60s-90s samples.
