so as you know she wanted warrior to be ****-pop record, but her label wanted her to do dance music and cut many of the rock songs on the record so they can add the generic dance songs instead. "Machine Gun Love" was one of the songs that didn't make the cut because her label felt that it's too risky and different. In this video you see her telling everyone to take out their cameras to record this song that isn't supposed to be heard.
I was wondering wth happened with her new record and why it wasn't as rock as she bragged it would be. That makes sense that the label would do that though, thats why she needs to drop them and do whatever she wants **** commercial success.
I'm so afraid because Shakira joined RCA Records. I hope they won't force her to record
songs that only sound like Hips Don't Lie because it's obviously biggest selling
record of the last decade. As for Ke$ha, this song sounds really good.
I'd see her recording more pop-rock songs. It'd fit with
her glittery personality.
Lmfao @ the stupid comments in here She's not gonna get dropped. I'm sure they had to oversee this being performed.
This song is a JAM I hope she releases it somehow, like what she did with F**k Him He's A DJ
I think it's the artist's biggest revenue, not the label's.
Hmm yeah I know for sure it's the artist's biggest revenue.. but I think the label makes a pretty decent cut out of tours especially for bigger arenas :S? I can't imagine cd sales giving labels that much in comparison either
