Anything I would say is not worth the point. Very ironic though coming from the songwriter of such non-generic tracks like Girlfriend and What the Hell.

That was the point of me bringing up Girlfriend, and other Avril songs brought up. Meaning Avril does have songs that have generic lyrics, and rehashed ideas. Its nothing new.

No, but what IS hard to comprehend is that someone can live in a self-imposed bubble during the songwriting process and still come out with something that sounds like everything else on the radio.
