What you accomplish at a certain age =/= more iconic
In the end, Madonna is global. Mariah stays local to this day.
Madonna is the most successful female artist of all time, which is something "people" actually care about .
Mariah is nowhere near as iconic/influential as Madonna, either. Sit with the illogical thinking.
And the Grammy argument is beyond idiotic. Kanye has more Grammies than Michael Jackson. So by your logic, that makes him better.

Lol
Madonna has influenced music in all the wrong way.
All she s done is prove that you don t need a single musical bone in ur body to have a career in music.
She proved that all u need to success in this world is to be a blonde woman.
She is the reason why people like kesha think that all she needs to stay relevant is drink her urine on national TV instead of working on her craft.
She s the reason why Paris Hilton thought she too could have a singing career.
She s the whole reason why we see so many pathetic publicity stunts as a way to offset the lack of talent.
Madonna doesn't have a single iconic moment based on her music. They are all based on her creating controversy: rolling around on stage, kissing Britney, having sex with a black Jesus, burning crosses......
Mariah, whitney and Celine raised the standart to be a singer. Madonna lowered it.
So off course she s gonna influence more people as any untalented people can do what she did. But I bet you they can't sing we belong together to save their lives.
