Indie pop singer Lana Del Rey scored her first top 30 hit on Billboard's Hot 100 with "Young & Beautiful" from "The Great Gatsby" soundtrack. The cinematic ballad made a big leap this week to no. 22 on the all-genre chart, according to Chart News.

Despite releasing several music videos, "Young & Beautiful" is only Del Rey's second entry on the Hot 100, following the no. 91 peak of breakout "Video Games." Her "Great Gatsby" single made its debut four weeks ago at no. 82. The sweeping song began to gain momentum with the theatrical release of Baz Luhrmann's adaption. Now, Lana is climbing new Billboard heights with "Young & Beautiful" jumping from no. 59 to no. 22 this week.

Del Rey co-wrote "Young & Beautiful" with Rick Nowels. In "The Great Gatsby," the song serves as a motif of character Jay Gatsby's love for Daisy Buchanan. Lana recently released a simplistic music video for the single, featuring her sporting two bedazzled tears (like the face on the F. Scott Fitzgerald novel art). It would not be surprising to see "Young & Beautiful" breakthrough the top 20 of Billboard's Hot 100 next week.

I got there at 5:45 and managed to get a front row seat...granted that she didn't actually notice our area until National Anthem played and half the screen was blocked off because of her damn lion statue

Soon as you enter the hall, don't go to the toilet, get drinks of buy merchandise. RUN TO THE HALL.

Just stand a little behind the centre stage if the front row is taken. Lana doesn't even get around to seeing everyone at the front. Instead just try and get a great view of the stage.

I fear Lana may have to re-think her current crowd interaction no matter how lovely it is. Word is getting round that even more than ever front row really is the place to be and that could cause problems in the future...
