Or maybe the 2011 album, which was released in US one year after the actual release? 4 videos, 2 songs.




Perhaps Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream"? Re-release, 3 new songs, 8 singles overall, 1 official promo single, 2 promotional songs ('Circle The Drain', 'Peacock') etc.



We can't forget Rihanna's 'LOUD' with some random collaborations, unexpected singles and messy releases with 7 singles overall.

At the beginning of Born This Way, Gaga was more over exposed than any artist I've seen in a long time. She had a freaking subway car painted with her damn face in New York.

I love her to death, but let's be real here.

Edit: I voted for other, but out of those answers it has to be Teenage Dream. Katy was shoved so far down our throats for no reason, now it is like she doesn't even exist.

Born This Way, campaign backfired and had to be cut short as we all know.

Loose was overexposed too, let's not forget the 9 international singles, 1 single had 2 videos, plus all the editions.

Only one of those can even really be called "overexposed", and I wouldn't go so far as to claim that when even the last single was top 3. And there's been seemingly no detrimental effect on the artist's success.

To answer the question, Born This Way; however, while it may have been detrimental in the end, I actually really enjoyed seeing the album cover plastered everywhere online and off. It was unreal how huge the hype was.
