Yes, I remember getting the phat blue original DS with Nintendogs (Labrador version) for my 11th birthday. I use to play that all the time.

And then I got Animal Crossing in the following May and I was converted into a full time stan Modern Nintendo is just the pits though (though I am interested in the new Animal Crossing and Pikmin 3).

Got on for my 9th birthday in 2006 I think. My second Nintendo console ever (I broke my GBA) and I remember one of my first games being Animal Crossing, which I still play now.

Back when touch screens were new and exciting. Iconic console.

i think it was a nice followup to the Gameboy and eventually precursor to the 3DS. never had a favorite game though. i always felt it was cutesy so i never applied it to actual quality gaming. although Okamiden and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days
