No, it's their fault. They are aware of the fact that their nails are a mess so they should do something about it.
If they took the time to shave their legs and armpits and get their hair and makeup done they should have done something about their feet as well.

Everyone was grossed out when Julia Roberts came with hairy armpits to the Oscars.
