In a recent US radio interview, Wanted singer Max George explained that he doesn't have a problem with 1D member Harry Styles.

"I don't mind Harry. [He's a] top shagger. I just like what I read, he does really well with the women, he's a cool guy."

However, George added that he was still not fond of all the One Direction members, most likely Tomlinson and Payne.

He said: "I don't mind a couple of them, but the other three, especially two of them…"

McGuiness said of Styles: "I think he's retained manners and a bit of dignity, whereas some of them… when they mouth off it really gets under my skin.

"It riles up loads of 14-year-old girls and there's no need for that, just talk to us."

He added that the feud began due to the media creating animosity between the bands.

"It generated just because we were two UK boybands… People were like, is there a rivalry?

"Well yeah, in the charts there is but we don't have anything against them. But then over time it generated a bit of bad feeling."

Louis Tomlinson later took to Twitter, possibly referencing The Wanted's interview. He said: "So frustrating when people talk the talk in the press but when it comes down to it not a word is said face to face!" (source)

So basically they're salty because they weren't the ones achieving chart success all over the world.
And not them talking about dignity when all TW do on twitter (when it comes to 1D) is attempt to force Louis out of the closet. Like, come on now.
