Anyways here's my prediction (mature prediction):
US:
1. Britney
2. Alicia
3. Celine
Reason: Britney, despite her magazine flaws, has a hit album on her hands. Haters can say what they want, but it's usually because she has done wonders compared to what their fav artist(s) has. Anyways "Gimme More" is irresistible, to ppl with mature minds, and I'm positive that promotion will be heavy in October with a video, GOOD performances lol, and hopefully interviews. We need to hear Britney's side for once, not the tabloid rumors. Alicia, #2, well because of Britney. She is equal to Britney in talent (Britney = amazing dancer/entertainer, Alicia = amazing singer, piano player), and has a huge fan base like her. Those two will be neck and neck in sales. Maybe even a couple of thousands. Celine #3 because Miracle only sold 1 million in the US three years ago, probably shipped, and yeah.

Reason: Britney got this under hook. Celine close behind because her international sales are phenomenal. But again she isn't "oh my god" right now. Alicia #3 because Britney & Celine are bigger than her WW, and "Fallin'" was her only international hit as far as singles. Everything after flopped, including the albums. Plus "No One" isn't as appealing as her previous singles, which is my main reason for not liking so much.
Overall the only thing keeping Britney from not topping the US charts is bare promotion, which I doubt Jive will let happen. So her big ass need to get in the gym ASAP.  |
