Being from the south, here's what I think she actually meant.
I honestly don't think Miley meant country music meets hip hop music. She said its dance and hip hop with a southern attitude. A southern attitude is a carefree, do what I want attitude (hence her WCS description). So therefor I don't believe she will have a country sounding single, just a southern attitude. I also think the sound will be pop meets hip hop, but I don't think Miley really wants to label herself as a pop artist. She's said before that she doesn't even really like pop music. If any of that makes any since, she will have a pop/hip hop single with a southern, carefree attitude being expressed in the song.
