In no way and (no shade, this is my opinion) personally I find it a bit insulting anyone would call her a "Latin legend" when her music has either zero elements of Latin music or it's all very stereotyped and awful and doesn't represent Latin culture well at all. In Latin America she is viewed as American pop/RnB star.
