Because Cher tweeted that she finished her album, and she doesn't lie. If she said she finished it, then she finished it. She doesn't hype just to end up canceling.
The song is trash anyway, so I'm not at all bothered. Also, I think her label want her to hit more demographics this era, so maybe her team told her to not to in the end, same with the Elton collab.
Why would you cut a Cher and/or an Elton collaboration if you want to hit more demographics?
