Beyoncé will perform in Brasília



Owner of sensual choreographies and of a hump that surprises even the Brazilian fans, the singer and actress Beyoncé will perform in Brasília on September 17. She will be in Brazil since the 13th of the same month, when she will open the awaited Rock in Rio festival.

Responsible for several hits such as Single Ladies, Beyoncé might be the first international attraction to sing in the new National Mané Garrincha Stadium. The show is part of The Mrs Carter Show world tour, which has circulated in several countries.

In an interview to Jornal de Brasília, businessman Julio Figueiredo confirmed the date but said that further information will be released later this month: "The show is not 100% closed. We are still studying the cache, values ​​of the tickets and stuff, "he says. "Every Brazilian date will be officially announced on the 28th," he adds.

First time
The ticket sales is expected to begin next month. "Probably the tickets will be sold by the site Livepass", anticipates Julio.

This will be the first time the American will perform in the capital. In 2010, the artist came to the country with the tour I Am... Tour and appeared in Florianópolis, Salvador, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.

Career
Beyoncé became known in 1997, when she was still part of the R&B female group Destiny's Child. With the separation of the members, she went solo and never stopped.

Besides working as a singer, she starred in the movies. Among her participations in the big screen, the focus goes to the film Dreamgirls (2006), which received two nominations for the Golden Globe award in the categories of best actress in a film, comedy or musical, and best original song.
