Early Life
She graduated high school. Questionable?
[edit]Career
Rasheeda is a rapper, singer, and official spokeswoman for She By Sheree. She released 5 albums and has appeared on tracks with irrelevant African American entertainers such as Petey Pablo, Nelly, Nivea, and Cherish.
She appeared in Ciara's "Goodies" music video opposite Monica and her AK-47. Rasheeda has been called several times as "Queen of Crunk" by someone with a great sense of humor. She is known for her hit single "This Bubblegum" (Lost Its Flavor Three Hours Ago). She is also a member of girl group Peach Candy. Rasheeda had an early start in her career.
As an adolescent, she and two of her friends formed hip-hop girl group Da Kaperz, and went on to perform in sold out parking lots across the south. Da Kaperz signed on to D-Lo Entertainment, which Rasheeda works with to the present.
Just a year later, Rasheeda began her career as a solo artist while maintaining a close friendship with the dynamic duo Who and Cares.
In 2001 album she dropped her album Nobody Is Listening through D-LO and Motown Records. With guest stars like Pastor Troy and Re-Re on board,
the album was a hot clearance bin item, with some of its tracks even labeled as new hip-hop anthem for lames.. Some of the other artists who also worked on Dirty South include Thugz Nation, and Nelly.
While Dirty South placed her firmly in the hip-hop genre, Rasheeda moved on to a more specific niche. Her 2002 second album Ghetto Dream, an indie release under D-Lo, had her rhyming over Casio keyboards beats with the likes of Lil Jon & the Eastside Boyz.
The Ghetto Dream sound featured faster rhythms and stronger beats, making it an instant hit in her living room. It was also with this album that Rasheeda earned her title as the Queen of Crunk.
[edit]After Being Called the Queen of Crunk
In 2005, Rasheeda used her official website/Myspace page, which served as a medium to get her music to her thousands of Myspace friends. That same year, Rasheeda was featured on Nivea's "Complicated" album.
Also that year, Rasheeda went to a fortune-teller and was told that she should continue her career as an underground female entertainer and apply to store management positions. Rasheeda followed suit, releasing numerous mixtapes and shipping them out from her home. Her efforts did not go unnoticed. Rasheeda built herself a local household name and brand.
Rasheeda paid homage to her Southern roots with her third album, Georgia Peach. Working once more with D-Lo Entertainment, the more intimate lyrics in Georgia Peach were combined with a slightly slower rhythm. The sexier, dirtier lyrics made it another favorite in the club circuits. Her latest effort, 2007's Dat Type of Gurl, had Rasheeda reprise some of her earlier works from Georgia Peach. Many of her old tracks were updated with remixes and samples thrown in for good measure.
Rasheeda is currently on the hit television show, Love and Hip Hop: ATL (Atlanta edition). She is best known for her side-burns that is similar to Shaggy Rogers, from the hit 1970's cartoon, Scooby Doo. Rasheeda is a beautiful woman who is married to asphalt; who is known as, Kirk, on the show. Kirk is Rasheeda's husband and manager, who has not been handling her "career" successfully since 1992. Rasheeda is very frustrated with Kirk because she wants him to make her grow as an artist from someone who barely make the top 5000 Billboard charts to platinum status like her co-worker on the show, Scrappy ( who is best known for his hit phrases," Put them "paws" on em" and "Take me off of child support, Erica").
