This is very dissapointing, because it not only says that the WiiU can't and won't run the Frostbite 3 engine, but also that the previous version of that engine was difficult for the WiiU to handle, and I guess that's the version that the current consoles (PS3 and XBOX60) use nowadays.
What kind of ancient hardware does the WiiU have?
i thought wii U supposedly had a stronger engine than ps3 & xbox
idk i Know nothing about hardware
EA also did the same to the Sega Dreamcast.. .Sega's last console.
No dead space Madden, Mass Effect, etc. Not to mention all the best 3rd party support is non-existent(tomb raider) Even the Sega Dreamcast had a better lineup of 3rd party support. :died:

Nintendo is not in the same financial situation as Sega was back in the day. Also Nintendo has a much stronger 1st and 2nd party line up than Sega ever had. They just need to know how to divide their resources. I doubt this is their last console.
Am actually gettin excited to see how nintendo's first party games will fair in keepin this console alive once the ps4 and nextbox hit the shelves. They do have a strong set, but the console is clearly more in the current generation of consoles than next gen.
This isn't even due to hardware limitations. EA is just trying to hurt Nintendo due to some deal over the Nintendo Network that went bad. EA is just butt hurt over the whole situation.

What? Nintendo couldn't get Frostbite 3 to run well on their console. This has nothing to do with spite.
Wow, so now not only will EA's Frostbite 3 games not make it to the Wii U, but ALL of their future games won't make it to the Wii U

Now, EA's Jeff Brown is saying the same fate applies to all of the company's titles, telling Kotaku that the company has "no games in development for the Wii U currently."

Lol. EA came out and praised the Wii U back at the 2011 E3 press conference. Between then and now something went down that caused EA to stop all support. The rumor that it has something to do with EA wanting Origin to be heavily integrated in the Nintendo Network and Nintendo denying their proposal seems to more and more believable.
