I love them both. Lord Of The Rings does have a way better storyline, but I had to go with Harry Potter. I grew up with Harry Potter and it's brought me so much joy and friends and it feels wrong to not back up Harry.

HP is magical, amazing, closer to home and a huge part of my childhood
But LOTR is objectively better (both books and films)

HP books, LOTR movies. LOTR is also obviously the more though-out, complete fantasy world.

HP
LOTR looks too boring, never watched or read it.
