That would be such an interesting idea. Would never work, the world needs diversity, and a school of all gay/lesbians students wouldn't really prepare them for the real world.
publicly funded? I would be ****ing pissed if my money was going to a school for something like that. That's not the solution. We need everyone to interact with everyone for society to progress. That's why there aren't any "blacks only" schools anymore. They have HISTORICALLY BLACK schools but whites can go to them.
I think it would be a great idea. My college will be opening an academic village soon where LGBTQ students will be able to live together and share with each other.
I myself belong to a fraternity for gay, bisexual, and progressive men. It's been a great experience bonding with other gay men on area other than sexual activities.
Isn't there one in nyc? Probably a not exclusive school though but eh I hear the bullying and such gets bad on transgendered and of course social out cast who act or dress out of everyday social norm. Those schools dont really help. We need to learn how to react with all kinds of people no matter what sexual orientation.
Harvey Milk High School is a public high school in the East Village of New York City designed for, though not limited to, gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender young people, as well as those questioning their sexuality.
The school is an LGBT school not an all gay male school. Also if you think about it you'd be less likely to have sex with anything if you actually had substantial choices to choose from rather from at a gay nightclub or bar. Still doesn't mean there wont be *****s but not everyone is an all out sex ***** either. I hope we dont cobtinue to bring our community down with self insults like these. They're funny but unfortunately some people do take them seriously and believe them.
