A kids version of “The Voice” is in the works at NBC.
“We are hoping [to begin production] by the end of the year,” a source close to the show tells The Post.
Casting calls were announced last week in New York, LA and Dallas for 8-to-14-year-old singers.
But the network put the project on hold just days later.
The plan, insiders say, is to film the series at the same time — and on the same stage — as the adult contest.
“There wasn’t enough time to get it together [before the upcoming fifth cycle],” the insider says.

A spanish version with big name coaches Paulina Rubio & Prince Royce premiered in America last week to strong ratings. Will this too be a hit or are we looking at another "American Juniors"?
And let's talk about the panel...off the top of my head, I say
Ariana Grande, Hunter Hayes and Nick Jonas would be great. Raven Symone can host.
