The first thing I did with my candies was buy an iron sword. I got my lollipop farm and planted 12 lollipops now, but I can barely even get through Mount Goblin without dying so I'm waiting til I have enough for a silver sword now.
I have a diamond sword and I encrusted it. I keep dying in the 'Underwater Cave'. I planted lollipops but I don't know why. I want more HP. I ate $460 candies after reading they will increase your HP but it only increased it by 23!!!!!
Got my diamond sword, encrusted it, finished all the frog questions, got my free candy bar, boots, and potions and now going back on a few quests. I'm not sure when I should plant anymore lollipops or if I should buy a scroll. I feel like I'm on a roll now.

just keep on planting lollipops eventually you will gett 100 per second, dont know if it gets any higher than that though

I stopped after a while because I realized it wasn't going to go higher than 100 lp/s.
And I think I got to the sorcerer after completing a quest. Not sure on that. You may already have access though, check your inventory and see if you can go to the sorcerer's hut.
It's my first time playing and I've been letting the candies accumulate.
