So a reliable source confirmed that Miley's lead single is in fact produced by Mike Will Made It. Exciting! Mike, has had a lot of hits this year. Those including Rihanna's "Pour It Up", Ciara's "Body Party" (her first top 40 hit in years) and also many other hits. So I feel like Miley's in good hands and the song will be a hit! Stay tuned to the Billboard awards as she is supposedly announcing something related to her single.

It's too bad that we couldn't have found this out from Miley, just like everything else she leaks. But yay.

Miley is so unpredictable.. she is a popstar, she changed her look late last year to rock/punk style, making you believe she wants to make rock music, but the producers she has been working with make hip-hop/rap music.

I do think Mike Will Made It would work amazingly well with Britney though.

It's interesting that he is producing the lead single though... Since she signed with RCA I was expecting them to ~force her to release one of the Dr. Luke songs since that seems to be kind of their style a la Avril/Ke$ha/etc. Hopefully this means the label's confident enough that this song will be a hit that they don't feel the need to go the generic route.

He has made a couple of cute bops but I haven't heard anything epic from him yet.

I'd rather have some generic Crazy Kids than some b-side Urban track from this so called ""hit maker"". Fall Down got to #5 on iTunes, Ashtrays & Heartbreaks to what, #78? It's clear what the public want from Miley and it is not Urban music.

This. People at work put on a playlist of all his stuff every night and loop it, from 2Chainz to Kelly Rowland and the only thing I bop to is Pour It Up. His sound is getting tired already, but he did mention wanting to work with katy perry before the miley collab happened so I hope that means he's able to mix his sound with pop because I agree that a straight urban miley song might not do too well right now.

I'd rather have a new, fresh sound that will get it's own success in it's own right than a generic by the books pop song.

Miley has already done the Luke **** but now she finds her own sound and her own place in the pop girls.
