Dutch songstress Caro Emerald released her sophomore album "The Shocking Miss Emerald" on Friday May 3rd and is doing very well both at home and abroad.
Right now her album is the best selling album on Amazon and the BBC has updated their official UK Albums Chart. Caro Emerald has her first official #1 album in the UK.

She's a jazz/pop singer and critics have noted a hiphop influence as well, I really love the album! (I'm hoping ATRL will get into her and give her a chance tbh, because I love her music so much and I'd love for people to join the discussion on her work)

She already did in The Netherlands... Her first album stayed on top of the charts for 27 weeks, beating out Michael Jackson's Thriller. She even has an honorary title already: the Dutch Queen of Pop
I like her, but never felt the need to buy her stuff, it is more music I would play in the background, and that is no shade, it is just not music I would listen daily to, more relaxing music.
