It will eventually lead to artists just putting out singles. And already is becoming the reason for further album sales decrease. Sooner or later, there will be no need to put out an album - or better yet, release physical copies of any music material.

Not really. Times are changing and so should the charts. It's sort of annoying to see songs that weren't as big as others sales wise be certified higher than others, but it just how the cookie crumbles I guess.
