I agree that Nicki needs to take a musical break.

When the lead single for Album #5 comes out, people need to say "Oh, Nicki Minaj has a new song out?!" rather than "Oh it's another new Nicki song." She needs to build the hype. She can't do it like Rihanna. Like Willy said, look what happened with RIM. She needs that kind of hype.

She could if she consistently hopped on high profile features.

If not, then at least wait until between March-June 2014 to release the lead single.

Both. She should stop featuring for artists who just aren't doin it. And for artists who are doing it, she should only feature on songs that are actually good (ex. Lil Wayne: great artist for her to feature with, but Lay It Down is trash. Waste of a feature.)

I just want her features to all do well. Maybe it's just the way I'm perceiving things, but I feel like her features used to overall do consistently better than they do these days.
