I think you're also defining "theatrical" in a small way. There's so much more than you're allowing to let it be. I'm sure you'd claim Barbra Streisand isn't theatrical.
And anyway, what does theatrics have to do with how well someone performs? If you have a theatrical style, cool. If you don't, cool.

I told you like 5 times already that Bey had and has theatrical elements in her show, but in the way SHE herself performs not at all.
What it was to do with who is a better performer? I guess it depends on what someone prefers?
Some want to see a good dancer/singer and others may prefer a more theatrical show? I don't know, you brought up the theatrics theme.
