I wonder if people were expecting the video to be some huge affair?
I mean, it's the perfect counterpart to it's song. The way both are understated somehow add a larger quality to it. The imagery was summery, lush, and simple, nothing was too little or too much. Mariah looked gorgeous, as always. The gold/orange/brown color palette fit with the tone of the song. I love it.
