Dancing with the Stars gets 13-14 million viewers every week and SNL barely 1/2 of that with a big star. Ellen gets 3-4 million viewers and Kimmel 2-3 million. SNL is VW's only promo spot. She's had more promo, it's not even debatable.

She's had plenty of promo, but don't act like promo of 2 months ago is gonna have the same influence as promo the day before or the day of release.

Yes Demetria had a nice amount of promo for Heart Attack at first but they pretty much stop promoting her as soon as Selena's single came out. Why didn't she get a slot at the BBMAS? HA is only still doing decently because of strong radio support and she only has Ellen lined up for the album release week.

The lion's share of both of their sales will come from the US and the UK, where VW is assuredly going to sell more.
