Judging men's style at these things is sort of a moot point though imo... they're all just wearing basic variation of a tux. I know I'm biased but Gavin was my favorite guy of the night with the black watch tux. Not over-the-top or costumey, but also a nice nod to the punk theme.

My thoughts exactly. I honestly find menwear the most boring thing.
He looks great though, but we've seen him in a tux before and we know he can pull it off. The only thing interesting are the accents on his shoes which are cute.
