Studies don't show blacks are inferior. Any study that has claimed that has either been disproved or elaborated on to show that blacks are at a disadvantage because of their situation, not because they're black. And if you guys trust religion more than science, I fail to see why everyone runs to the hospital when they get sick instead of praying it away. Some of you believe you can pray the gay away, so why not some disease? Probably because you and I both know deep down that it won't work.
So yes, you have as much control over your sexuality as you do over your race.
