Do you believe in love, that there is one or more persons in the world that can make you happy? Or do you think all relationships will fail?

I don't see how anyone can possibly believe that all relationships will fail when there are so many successful marriages and long-term relationships around us all the time. Everyone knows at least one couple who are happily married or in a happy long-term committed relationship. I don't see how anyone can possibly deny the existence of love even if they are yet to experience it themselves first-hand.

My parents are happily married and have been for 22 years so that's proof enough for me.

I do think you can be in love with someone as long as you live. so yes.

That does not mean they are in love... they may stay together for convenience or habit. I don't know any couple that say 40 years into their marriage seem truly in love with one other... but who knows?

I don't know that I can love someone for the rest of my life.

The possibility of boredom or convenience does not disprove the existence of love altogether regardless of context imo.

Obviously it's real... it isn't something I care about tho I'm too lazy for a relationship.

I don't know if this is gonna last forever or not but I don't really care right now... I'm just living the moment and it's the best feeling I've had tbh.

yes. i haven't found it yet but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist or that i'll never find it with someone. love is subjective and personal and it happens differently to people/couples

those are different cases though. obviously if people are happily married/together then it is love. people who stay together out of convenience wouldn't necessarily be in a happy relationship. not really at least.

and really you've never heard of or seen old couples in their 80s who have been together since the 60s? because it's very common. obviously if those relationships exist you can't actually say it's impossible.
