Last night, the singer kicked off her eagerly anticipated world tour 'The Mrs Carter' show where it was believed that the superstar would preview some of her new material.

However, the 'Single Ladies' singer only performed hits from her previous four albums indicating that work on the new album is still unfinished.
A source told The Sun newspaper that she wants to launch the album with a classic.
The insider explained: “She won't put out anything as her first single until she's 100% sure it will be a classic. She's putting pressure on herself for it to be a hit of 'Single Ladies' calibre, and to make sure she's on top of the game.”
Beyonce recently revealed a clip of track 'Grown Woman' as part of her campaign for Pepsi prompting reports that the song was going to be released as the former Destiny's Child star's new single.
The source added: "The first single was supposed to be 'Grown Woman' but that got cancelled and used as a teaser for her new Pepsi ad."
Beyonce also released 'Bow Down' last month as a teaser for her new album which generally received a negative response from both critics and fans.
Longterm collaborater Ryan tedder who penned tracks such as 'Halo' revealed that work on Beyonce's latest project is still unfinished.
'The Mrs. Carter Show' comes to the UK later this month, kicking off at the LG Arena, Birmingham on April 26. Tickets for the tour sold out in under 10 minutes
My thoughts ? Beyoncé doesn't know what to do with herself at the moment.
She has arenas booked all over the world, good for her. But let's not act like the way she handles herself this time around is expected from a pop star of her caliber.
She needs to get everything together, I'm willing to wait some more as long as she knows what she's doing.
Which isn't the case for now.
I don't understand why she's on tour promoting old material... she should have just released Grown Woman, I was loving the snippet in the pepsi ad. Right now she should be previewing new songs on the tour, or else she should have waited til material was finished.
