The #1 is probably Filler considering how much ATRL stans for success.
Thriller was amazing but I don't think it was his best though, I think it was one of the best if not the best album of the 80's. Only one song on it was actually filler to me and that's the one with paul mccartney

Cute but Bad was the **** though one of the best albums from the 80's.
Guys, this is not cool. Bad is one of the best pop albums in existence. Smooth Criminal, Dirty Diana, Man in The Mirror, Bad, Leave Me Alone or The Way You Make Me Feel are absolutely amazing and the rest is also solid. I adore this album, even tho it will not be on my list for the sake of less known masterpieces
Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation 1814 deserves to win though. It was a good balance of sincere, socially conscious lyricism and fun Dance songs. It's tied with janet. for her best vocal album. MOST IMPORTANTLY, it is the best album of the New Jack Swing era; its production demonstrates the musical innovations that made the New Jack Swing era special so BEAUTIFULLY.
"State of the World", "Love Will Never Do (Without You)", "Alright" and "Come Back to Me" > the Pop girls (sans Beyonce of course).
Janet really s***s on Michael when you think about it.

I disagree completely Control to me was a better album to me. And Janet ain't in MJ's league in any form. Plus these albums:
Crashing In London
Thriller
Like A Prayer
Sign O Times
Appetite For Destruction
The Joshua Tree
etc...... >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Rythm Nation (which is good and a classic in it's own way though)
Anyways yall should vote for this classic:
I forgot to put it on my rates list but I think it should do well on the final list

LOL no.
Janet most definitely is in her brother's league. She is a pop icon and legend too.
Sign of the Times is not better. Thriller is certainly not better. I listened to Like a Prayer last night. EXCELLENT album, but not touching RN1814.
Control is overrated. Great album, but out of Janet's four important albums, it is the worst. TVR > janet. > RN1814 > it.
YAAASS I'm not the only person voting for it! I'm sure we can get other ATRLers to vote for it, too. Just gotta remind them that aside from the classics you just posted, this album also had an AMAZING duet with Miss Tina Turner called "It's Only Love":
(This song's so impossible to find on YT...)

Also, is Billy Idol getting some votes?? If not, he should. I don't care if you vote for Billy Idol ("Dancing with Myself," "White Wedding," "Hot in the City") or Rebel Yell ("Rebel Yell," "Eyes Without a Face," "Catch My Fall," "Flesh for Fantasy"); he deserves some votes.
I forgot to put it on my rates list but I think it should do well on the final list
Yeah, Legend definitely should be high on the final list, but Im not so sure that many ATRLers are familiar with this flawless gem, so you better put it on your own list too
And just a question. Is The Wall eligible? London Calling was released only two weeks after The Wall and it is eligible, so I just thought that maybe I will ask...

LOL no just because you are legend or icon doesn't equate your in the same league all the way around in terms of other entertainers who are considered legendary. RN1814 was a cool album but way too overproduced with some songs and hasn't aged as well compared to the other albums I listed. Control janet. & TVR was better imo.

I hope they do know about it I forgot to put it on my list and already sent it in. I don't regret it too much though I put some great diverse albums on it. I hope an unexpected album like "London Crashing" wins or something just to make it unpredictable
I know the struggle sometimes I just get confused and type too fast for me to think. But anyways your welcome. Plus bump!!!!!!!! Also ppl support this album:
Back in Black
madonnas i'll try to get more ppl to vote in this rate
