Then we've got Heart Attack which can't hold a candle to the Overdose SNIPPET.
I'd like to think Ciara can at least match Demi's star power even though Demi is still young and fresh.

There were a series of missteps that Ciara hasn't been able to recover from. Ciara first branded herself as the Princess of Crunk, but then the crunk music fad passed. She tried to evolve her sound with FR, but it didn't win over many new fans or keep the fans who bought her first two albums. By the time the third album came out, Ci tried to get that ole' thang back and revert to the style that made the first two albums smash, but by then, most of her fans had moved on to other artists.

There's a lot of hand wringing over Ciara, but here's the thing, don't the majority of artists start to wan after two albums? Like, think about it. Don't most of them start to fall off after two albums? I think the Bey's and Rih's are the exception, not the rule. Rather than compare Ciara to Rihanna, I think she's more like Omarion, this great dancer and so-so singer who had smashes at one time but hasn't been able to sustain much momentum (M.I.A. is the jam tho).
