Funniest thing I heard all day.
Anyway, radio didn't really support Britney back in the day, but that didn't stop her from mopping the floor with Xtina's single/album sales, and one of them can still sell nowadays, with radio support or not.
Xtina WAS definitely a bigger radio force (in the US) than Britney in the early 2000s but when you look at the drop in airplay (starting from the Back To Basics era) over time it just makes her look pathetic tbh. She has fallen SO damn hard.

Its crazy how hard it is for Christina to get airplay these day though. She has 13 top hits on pop radio and gets great recurrent airplay but they pay her dust now.
a lot of it has to do with politics though. If she did more things for Clear channel like their special concerts or other contest and did radio interviews besides Ryan Secreast who never plays her songs I think they would start playing her again.
who cares if they were put in the same thread some of you really are insecure about your faves no need to report this the miley, demi and selena one wasn't
Congrats to Britney. The fact that she sold so much without radio hits proved her power. Also the fact that her biggest radio hit was 12 years into her career is also amazing.
And this thread is so 2001. They're at different paths in their career.
Why are stans turning this into a competition? It's been well known that Christina has done better than Britney on radio until recent eras. And I don't see why it's a big deal that their both in the same thread, if it wasn't a big deal for Bey & Rih and the Disney Girls. Solid numbers for both.
