This. I saw a couple AnR's on twitter talk about if single deals were the way to go over album deals and used will.i.am's single success with the new album vs the album sales as an example. I was lost and replied to them because it's really not hard to understand that he does well single-wise because of the featured artist. Nobody cares about will.i.am, but they'll support Britney, Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus. If you buy the song with your favorite artist on it why do you need to buy the full album.
