Beyoncé's EPIC set to overperform at the box office
Earlier predictions for "EPIC" were $95 million, now closer to release date they seem to be going up.
Still, from a scheduling perspective, Epic is in great shape: Memorial Day weekend is typically a good time to release an animated movie, and its closest competition (Monsters University) comes out four weeks later. (Domestic: $130 million, Foreign: $245 million (TOTAL Projection: 375 million) )
This studio has a worse track record than Pixar and Dreamworks and animated fantasy films like this one tend to perform worse at the box office, I say around 100 million would be the ceiling. BOM's predictions are often quite inaccurate so take that with a grain of salt. But then I don't think there's a lot of family-friendly releases before it so it could overperform, but the release date is VERY crowded. It's a tough call and I say this as someone who has followed box office for 7 years now.

There's a hangover 3? Welp, I guess #3 isn't so bad given those other two huge releases. I will be seeing both fast six and epic
