Is it still wrong for a man to beat a woman for the sake of defending himself?
I just read an article that claims women see flamboyant gays as vulnerable, weaker and less threatening, whereby they see this bunch as a suitable match for them. In short, they are more likely to go IN if the fem ones every try it.
But still, men are men, gay or not. So where do they place in this situation? Should they back off or what?

Where as, what? The alternative being to fight back as if people won't judge you even more for doing so? I'd rather be passive in a fight with a girl and seem like a pucci than to fight back and be a bitch. Men who hit or fight women, whether they're gay/effeminate or not, is shameful imo.
Why do people say no? What is it about women that makes you so hesitant to fight back even if you're in danger?
The whole thing against hitting women came from a time when women were seen as weak & inferior. Nowadays, with everyone claiming to be for gender equality, why are people so against hitting a girl, but would easily defend themselves against men?
