Amelia Lily has delayed the release of her debut album Be A Fighter for a second time.
The singer's new LP will now be released on July 29 via Sony Records.
Lily previously pushed back the release of the collection from April 21 to May 20.
Be A Fighter includes top five single 'You Bring Me Joy', as well as 'Shut Up' and her latest track 'Party Over', which entered the charts at number 40 last week.
The star recently opened up about the lack of support she has received from radio stations, explaining: "I've got a great team who do their best, and my fans are amazing as well. As long as people like the song, that's all I'm bothered about.
"If it's played on radio, amazing, but it's just amazing to be even played anywhere, you know?" (source)
The more her album is delayed the more its success is being sabotaged. She could've released it on its original date and it would've been a top ten or top five album thanks to the two singles released beforehand. I feel kinda bad for her.
At this point I'm hoping the album actually gets released, no matter what month.
I know she has the three album contract but the label could easily override that if it doesn't do well, right?
Well she has a 3-album contract, so the album will be released at some point, it won't be shelved completely.
It's sad because the era started off so well with You Bring Me Joy being a hit, her label should have capitalized on it's success and released the album on the original date.

Fairly sure 99.9% of record deals come with a cancellation clause so the label can back out at their own discretion, yeah. I doubt it'll come to that though as Amelia has been relatively successful so far. I guess they just wanna make sure radios really get behind her next single before they release her album.
The singles bar You Give Me Joy are **** though, so expected tbh! I can't at her releasing crap like this. Eurgh, my fave on X Factor that year as well.
Poor Amelia She deserves much better than this. 'You Bring Me Joy' & 'Party Over' are my jams, 'Shut Up' was not the best choice, but still it wasn't THAT bad. Hopefully she will get a chance to release her debut album.
''Party Over'' should have been the second single (''Shut Up'' is awful, should never have seen the light of day to be honest here) and the album should have been released in April as was intended. The more pushbacks, the higher chance of the album being scrapped completely.
