No but I used to with Katy.
I was in my experimental phase idk lol.
Found out I didn't like her music as much as the people in my sig so I hopped off again.
Hhmmm...I have recently started staning for Azealia, but I wouldn't call it bandwagoning since I didn't like her around the same time everyone else did
No. I've liked Gaga from mid-2008 when I saw her at those Logo Awards and I've liked Lana before and after the SNL mess. I've never liked the others (fun., Frank, etc).
Not really. I don't try to be, but if the acts are not in America or indie, it's really hard not to "bandwagon" if it's the first time I've ever heard their stuff and like it immensely...
Not really, but if something is shoved in my face enough, I learn to not totally hate it. Then when it goes away I remember why I didn't really like it to begin with.
On this forum people accuse people of bandwagoning whenever an artist has mainstream success and gets lots more fans.
I live in the UK, so I've known about people like Adele and Ellie Goulding for years, but those people that became fans of them in 2011/2012 aren't bandwagoners imo. They only discovered those artists in 2011/2012. It's different if those people knew about Adele since 2008 and ignored her because nobody else liked her, but if you only hear about Adele for the first time in 2011 and become a fan of her, that's not bandwagoning. When you're getting your songs played on the radio to hundreds of millions of people each week, of course you're going to get a lot of new fans. Artists never start out with their immediate fanbase, apart from in a few cases like Lady Gaga, most artists have to spend years getting their name out there and building their fanbase.
Not really, who bandwagons for Christina? There was a time I was really into Azealia but her attitude has turned me off lately, that could count as bandwagoning I guess
