Katy Perry and Rihanna are two of the biggest stars on the planet, but it seems the girls' biggest fans are each other as despite claims the two had fallen out over the Diamonds' star's romance with Chris Brown, the two are reportedly planning a girly holiday to Africa.
Insiders claim the BFFs, who recently joked about "spanking" each other on Twitter, are keen to get away from it all and relax together.
“Katy and Rihanna have both done the Hawaii and Cabo-type trips to Mexico before, so this time they’re thinking something a bit different, like a safari in Africa," an insider told The Sun.
"They want somewhere where they can have amazing experiences but still get drunk.”
It's been a tough few weeks for both girls. Rihanna was forced to cancel a string of dates on her Diamonds world tour after falling ill and Katy Perry has recently split from boyfriend of eight months John Mayer, so no wonder they're looking forward to getting away.
The girls weren't so close a couple of months ago though, when Perry admitted they weren't as close as they once were.
"We’ve had dinner, and that’s about it. I didn’t reach out to her after the incident," she told MTV News regarding her reunion with Chris Brown last November.
"I think she is doing fine. I don’t know. Her personal life has probably already been blown out of proportion. I don’t really have to go into that. I’m sure she probably wants a break."
Insiders at the time claimed Perry didn't approve of the Rude Boy star getting back with her former flame.
“They aren’t tight anymore because Katy doesn’t approve of Rihanna dating Chris Brown,” a source told Us Weekly in February.
But clearly things are all fine again as last week the girls flirted on Twitter over RiRi's night at a strip club.
Well we're glad they've made up and a little jealous of their holiday fun! Can we come?
