I have a weird question. Do any of you know like a "name pulled out of a hat" kind of website? I have like 20 diff pokemon I want to use on my next team but I can only use 6 obvi and I thought that would be the easiest way to choose.

Not sure if I'm too late but you can google ''random.org list randomizer'' and type in all the pokemon and then randomize it, and pick the 6 that come out on the top
but make sure to put only one pokemon per line or itll come out weird

I personally hope "fairy type" doesn't exist because that will be too huge a change, and it would be weird. How are they going to explain "oh yeah, you've been dealing with Clefairys and Blisseys for four generations but we only JUST realised they were a dual type pokemon".
I hated how Magnemite/Magneton existed before Gen 2 and then they had to go through the mess of explaining why this obviously metal pokemon was just officially declared a new type.
I wouldn't be opposed to a new type as long as it only affected Gen 6+ pokemon, as to not disrupt the way things are now.
Magnemite and Magneton changing wasn't really a big deal IMO lol like it was obvious that they were gonna make some alterations for the second gen and it worked fine. To me that was a quiet little change. Having to reclass several Pokemon 5 gens later would be a loud ass change IMO.

THey'll find a way to explain it, if we get a new type
i personally hope we get a new type to shake things up
Is it bad if, with new pokemon games, I base my in-game team off of the pokemon who I like best, from the pokedex pictures?
I always make my in-game teams of the generation I'm playing (Only 1st time, tho.) and I base the people on it off of that. Even if they were all damn Ice type

why should it be bad though?
I mostly use teams that i have used before. for example i started playing emerald for the 4th time now and my team will be nearly the same like the last 2 times i played it
GIRLS, so I'm playing through SS and surfing on my Staryu and it HIT me! Like, come October, we might be able to surf on our actual Pokémon.
Like up until now all I've really been thinking about is the 3D battling and animations but like the JOURNEY! Flying, surfing, omg. I can't.
They better get this right. 3D Pokémon has so much potential.
It still bothers me that we won't be able to walk in all directions, but if they get the surfing on actual Pokémon right, they can save that one for the next game or generation.

Walking in every direction would mess up the egg hatching system, I think that the block-based walking is as classic as turn-based fighting.
They did let you walk in any direction in XD gale of Darkness and in Colosseum because it didn't mess with any other mechanics.
